Searching for classmates just got easier

It was Albert Einstein who once said “A photograph never grows old. You and I change, people change all through the months and years, but a photograph always remains the same.” We, at the library, are giving you the chance to look back on your memories through our high school annual collection. Search the yearbooks to see what you can find. You never know. You just might find that never-before seen picture of your mom doing “The Twist” or that psychedelic photo of your senior year ‘fro.

Don’t want to come all the way to the library to see if we have any of your favorite old annual photos? No problem. We have just developed an online index to these annuals that you can search from the comfort of your own home. Just enter your name or the name of an old friend or family member to look them up with ease. In addition, our new search feature allows you to select what databases you would like to search. You can search our annuals, obituaries, other indices, or all three.

While we don't have the photos or contents of the annuals posted on our website, you can view them anytime during regular library hours. A librarian would be happy to assist you. This is a project in progress which means that the index is still growing. If you don't see the school or year that you want to search, check back. We hope to have all of the Henderson high school annuals indexed in the near future. Click here to start your search today, or visit our genealogy webpage to learn more!

Note: Our high school annual collection is incomplete. The library would be grateful if you could donate annuals to fill the gaps. Click here to see a listing of missing years.
