Want your own website? We can help.

It’s easy to have your very own website and you don’t have to be a computer genius to get started. On Saturday, October 30, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the library, we will show you how Google Sites makes it simple to create and publish your very own website for your business, school, club, family or favorite hobby. Add info just like you do in a document as well as pictures, videos or other types of content. Make as many pages as you like and arrange them as you please. Our Public Computer Instructor, Retta Zollinger, will walk you through the steps of creating your own website and show you how to choose a template, make your site public or private, add gadgets and more. All participants must have a Google account and be able to successfully log into Google Sites before registering. Interested participants may schedule a one-on-one session to set up a Google account prior to registration by calling the Library.  Space is limited so register soon!

Prerequisites: Must already have a valid Google account and be able to successfully log into Google Sites. Must be experienced using the mouse and have basic keyboarding skills. Must also have a basic knowledge of using an Internet browser.
