Content is king at the Research Center

We have been highlighting services from our online Research Center on the blog and on our website for the past several months, making sure that you are aware of the free resources that are available to you 24/7.

This week we want to bring to your attention Academic Search Premier and MasterFile Premier, two research tools that are a must for students at the high school, university, or graduate school level. If you are a student, don't miss out on the opportunity to take advantage of these free tools when working on projects, assignments or papers.

Academic Search Premier and MasterFile Premier are massive databases that include the fully-searchable content of over 8,000 magazines and professional journals in nearly every subject imaginable. Searching is as simple or advanced as you want it to be. Articles can be printed, downloaded, emailed, or saved.

In additional to magazines and journals, these databases contain the entire contents of 500 reference books, an Image Collection of photos, maps and flags, over 80,000 biographies, and over 100,000 primary source documents (such as the Constitution).

These services can meet most any information need for any student or anyone who is interested in popular and professional literature. Have your library card handy and search both databases now. If you have a question or need help, please call (826-3712), stop by, or email the library.
