Your librarians share their favorite books

It seems that it is either feast or famine around the library. Either all of your favorite authors release a new book at once or it seems you have nothing to read. This month we will be displaying our staff's favorite books and audiobooks to help our patrons through the thin reading times. The selections will vary as widely as our ages, personalities, tastes, and interests, so every patron is certain to find a good suggestion. As an added bonus, each librarian will label his or her picks, so if you like a suggested book, you have an idea who to go to the next time you are starving for a new author.

Here's a sample of some of our favorite books:

Miss Julia speaks her mind
A brief history of time
If you give a mouse a cookie
White chocolate moments
One flew over the cuckoo's nest
The spy who came in from the cold
Size 12 is not fat
Sue Grafton mysteries on CD
Marley and me
Monster
