Using Google Blogger Workshop

Why blog?  Blogging is for anyone and everyone.  It's a way for you to share your creativity, thoughts, and passions with the rest of the world ... or just your closest friends.  It can be a diary, travelogue, or a business tool.  It can be anything you want it to be and it's easy to do.  Want to learn how?

The Library is hosting a workshop on how to use Google's Blogger on Monday, September 27, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  Led by blogging guru Nibby Priest, you will learn:
  • Blogging basics and buzzwords
  • How to set up a blog
  • Writing and posting blog posts
  • Adding services such as Facebook and Twitter feeds
  • How to use blogs to network your business and/or social cause and build relationships
The workshop is free but registration is required.  All participants must have a Google account and be able to successfully log into Google Blogger before registering. Interested participants may schedule a one-on-one session to set up a Google account prior to registration by calling the Library.  Participants must be experienced mouse and keyboard users and must also have basic knowledge of using an Internet browser.
