The Henderson County Public Library will present "Christmas Time is Near," a program for children ages 5 and up at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 19. Local resident Wendy McPherson, a former nursery school teacher, will read The Night Before Christmas, Polar Express, and Mary's Baby. Children will also have fun making an edible Christmas tree and Snowman Soup. Registration is required for attendance. You may register during your next visit to the Library or by calling 826-3712.
