Fall into fun with fall break programs

Fall break will be here before you know it for Henderson County students and the Library has been working hard to prepare some great programs! Registration begins Sunday, September 27, and goes through Saturday, October 3. You will be able to register online or in person at the Library during regular library hours (no phone registrations, please). Children in grades K-6 are invited to attend and registration is required for participation.

Here's the lineup of programs:

Celebrate Autumn with Crafts - Tuesday, October 6, 1:30 pm
Join us in celebrating fall and make some autumnrific crafts. This program will be held in the Library's Multi-Purpose Room.

Camp Mystery - Wednesday, October 7, 1:30 pm
Eleven-year-old Wanda Tuggle is missing a valuable gift from her grandmother. What is she missing? Was it stolen or did she misplace it? Come & help Wanda solve the mystery before her grandma finds out! This program will be held in the Library's Multi-Purpose Room.

Goodbye to Reading Rainbow - Thursday, October 8, 1:30pm
For 26 years, Reading Rainbow, the PBS show hosted by LeVar Burton, was a way for children to tune in and learn. The last episode aired on August 28, 2009. Whether you watched just for fun or as a class project, join us for a tribute to Reading Rainbow. This program will be held in the Library's Multi-Purpose Room.
