Live tutoring expanded - now serving K-3 and adults

New in 2008 - "K - Adult" coverage!

The grade levels for Live Homework Help® have been expanded to include kindergarten through 3rd grade plus "Adult Learners." Now students from 5 to 85 can connect to a tutor for one-to-one help. Your library recognizes the early age at which children are now being introduced to the computer. In response to this trend, we have lowered the introduction of Live Homework Help® to students as they enter the school system. Parents who bring their young children to the library's Live Homework Help® service expose them to rich learning resources, increase the child's ability to succeed in computer literacy and provide practice for fine motor skills.

The Adult Learners now have their own access level! The Adult Learner selection supports those earning their GED, taking adult education courses, seeking grammar help with their resume or a work-related project, and more. The Adult Learner level includes the following subjects: English, English-Writing Center, Algebra, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics, and Social Studies.

Live Homework Help is available every day from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. Connect to a tutor now or read more.
